Life Isn’t Easy, and That’s Okay.
Being a teenager can be a lot. Some days, you’re smashing life; other days, it feels like everything’s falling apart. The stress from school, friendship drama, or the pressure of figuring out who you are can feel like too much to handle.
Maybe your reactions to things get out of hand before you even realise it, and you’re left wondering how to make it stop. Or maybe you feel misunderstood—like no one really gets what you’re going through.
Here’s the truth: you don’t have to face it all on your own.
At Unruly Therapy, I’m here to offer you a space that’s yours. A place where you can talk about what’s weighing on you, vent about life’s challenges, and even find moments of relief and fun.
You don’t have to figure it out on your own

Because There’s Nothing
Therapy Isn’t About Fixing You—
F$%&ing
Let me say this: you’re not broken. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” anything—it’s about understanding yourself better, finding clarity, and learning how to handle life’s challenges in a way that feels more in control.
As far as i'm concerned normal is a silly word. Who decides what’s “normal,” anyway? Life isn’t about squeezing yourself into a box that doesn’t fit—it’s about embracing who you are, quirks and all.
This is a space where your feelings matter, where you can figure out what’s really going on without judgment. Whether it’s big emotions, self-esteem struggles, or risky choices, we’ll work together to untangle it all.

Wrong with You!
Here’s What We Can Tackle Together
Emotional Rollercoasters
Mood swings, anger, sadness—let’s figure out healthy ways to handle them.
Self-Esteem and Identity
Feeling unsure about who you are or where you fit? You’re not alone.
School Stress and Academic Pressure
From managing deadlines to dealing with teachers, we’ll make it more manageable.
Family Dynamics
Whether it’s constant arguments or feeling misunderstood, we’ll navigate it together.
Risky Choices
If you’re dealing with peer pressure, experimenting, or pushing boundaries, we’ll talk about why—and how to stay true to yourself and safe.
Why Work with Me?
I’ve spent over a decade working with teenagers—from youth offenders to elite athletes, in high schools, charities, and private practice. Most people would say I’m open-minded, but I’d call it determination. If I don’t understand something, I’ll keep trying until I do.
I’ve also held on to the feelings I had growing up—the intense emotions, the struggles, the need for independence. That’s helped me become someone who truly understands your world. I respect your individuality, your challenges, and your story.
No judgment. Just a safe space where you can feel heard and supported.

How It Works
Step 1 Book a Free Chat
We’ll start with a free, no-pressure Zoom session. It’s a chance for you (and your parents, if you want) to ask questions, understand how I work, and decide if this feels like a good fit.
Step 2 Confidentiality That Works for You
Worried about privacy? Don’t be. When we meet, I’ll fully explain the limitations of confidentiality—what I can keep private and what might need to be shared if there’s a serious concern for your safety or someone else’s. From there, between me, you, and the people who look after you, we’ll find a middle ground where everyone—especially you—feels comfortable and understands exactly what will happen with your information. Whether you prefer complete privacy or agree on some shared updates with your parents, we’ll create a plan that feels fair and clear for everyone involved.
Step 3 Your Space, Your Growth
In my experience, what parents or teachers tell me is going on and what my client tells me is going on are often two completely different things—and that’s okay. These sessions are yours. What you want to talk about, focus on, or work through will always be the priority. We’ll focus on what matters most to you, whether that’s managing emotions, building confidence, or tackling life’s challenges in a way that feels right for you.

A Message for Parents
Therapy can be a game-changer—not just for your teen but for the whole family. When your child has a safe, supportive space to express themselves, you’ll likely see positive changes in their mood, behaviour, and how they interact with you.
At Unruly Therapy, I focus on creating that space for your teen while keeping you reassured and involved. It’s about finding the balance between their need for privacy and your need to stay informed. Together, we’ll create clear boundaries that work for everyone.
I don’t just talk to teens; I listen. What you see as a parent might not be the full story, and that’s okay. I help teens unpack what’s really going on and give them the tools to handle their emotions, relationships, and challenges. For parents, I offer guidance to better support your child and foster stronger family connections.
When your teen feels understood and supported, they thrive—not just now, but for the future. Let’s work together to make that happen.
